“Right” went Miles after drinking some water. “So we have learned about the views of these four figures on issues like technology copyright, research, Austria, Superman, spies and border conflicts. I thank these lots for debating, I thank the audience for observing us well, I thank our TV audience for watching. And now I say: good bye!”

"What a show, Klaus! I mean what a show!"
"What a show indeed! This'll definitely be one for the history books!"
"But will it be because of the topics of debate?"
"That I'm afraid I can't say, Wilhelm. SUDS always comes out swinging, but Coruscant's heart just didn't seem in it."
"I know exactly what you mean. I've heard that once you get them going, they're a right chatterbox—"
"—But first you have to get them going, and Miles just wasn't ready for that level of brevity."
"Was it enough to answer the question?"
"Sure, Wilhelm, but without elaboration, it's no more enlightening than their public speeches. I'd say in terms of volume, SUDS displaced Coruscant by about 3:1. Quality may trump quantity, but I was left with more questions than answers!"
"So, can we pick a winner from tonight's showdown?"
"Well, Ozerov wins points for well-roundedness, and Antilles gave at least a cursory explanation, but I feel as though tonight ended before it really even began!"
"I think we can agree there is at least one all-round victor tonight, though!"
"Absolutely; it is, after all, his first name! Victor Miles proved himself nobody's pushover when he called out Chaput's abysmal behaviour!"
"You know when you push Miles past breaking point, you've lost the game! Walk me through it again, Klaus."
"Well, Chaput's rarely one to temper his disdain of anyone and anything, and it looked like he aimed to turn the show into his personal soapbox."
"Bad move, Klaus!"
"You said it! He was like a kid on the playground; veteran viewers know Miles' show can get heated, but this was a downright travesty. He spent more time berating than he did debating!"
"I don't know about you, but I was feeling pretty embarrassed for him by the end of it!"
"Either way, it's a smear on the Shadow Directory's reputation for sure. If I were him, I'd be thinking of updating my résumé!"
"Maybe they should have a head-to-head between him and that loudmouth in the audience?"
"The woman dressed half-Goth, half-Fascist? Who was she, anyway?"
"I believe she's actually Mariko Antilles, the evil clone of CivGeneral and arch-enemy of Coruscant!"
"I can't say I noticed a resemblance."
"Me neither."
"You know, for someone ranting about how much she wants to destroy the world, she sure seems to be born of it, no pun intended!"
"Too true, Wilhelm! God forbid she and Chaput should ever get hitched!"
"I can hear the self-righteous boasting of their young'uns already!"
"So, what heated heads can our audience look forward to in the coming week, Wilhelm?"
"A special two-by-two between the Downfall Gang's Adolf Hitler and Hermann Fegelein, and SUDS' Susan Rojo with either the Premier or his deputy; the details are still a little sketchy."
"D'you think they'll mention the war?"
"I doubt they could avoid it if they tried!"
"I hear Miles has encouraged Fegelein to host his own talk show!"
"As I recall, he's slated Francis II as one of his first picks for guest!"
"Well, then, let's hope Austria doesn't lose too quickly!"
"Whatever becomes of what, our audience will have no shortage of entertainment this month!"
"Indeed they won't, and we'll be fortunate enough to bring it to them!"
"Until next time, this is Wilhelm and Klaus—"
"—Klaus and Wilhelm—"
"—wishing you a good night—"
"—and a safe trip home."

CivGeneral: Nozomi, hang up my tablet and pen Nozomi: What for?
CivGeneral: I'm quitting roleplaying.
Nozomi: Don't say that, you just need to work on it dad
Mariko: If I were in your shoes. I'd kick Klaus in the ass for showing favoritism to SUDS
Nozomi: Don't you have another story to go to?

"Emm..." went Miles. "This is not a contest. Radio Misch was only... commenting on the production of debate."

Thankfull Chaput had already left to read the message sent to him on the future of his positions in the Shadow Guild. Ozerov was talking to students from the University of Paris on matters of science. Miles was getting ready to leave. Soon the caretakers will arrive to find the set being almost taken out. Another day for Victor Miles.

"Emm..." went Miles. "This is not a contest. Radio Misch was only... commenting on the production of debate." Please excuse my daughter-in-law. She's been under a lot of stress lately. So much so that she personally told me that she's not running for Chancellor of the Republic and insisting that my son run for Governor of Nova Terra.

So much so that she personally told me that she's not running for Chancellor of the Republic and insisting that my son run for Governor of Nova Terra. "Well" went Miles. "It is a notion most noted. Well... I hope to have you in a debate in the future or even in a interview. Then I will ask more of your views on the matters."
