The United Kingdom is in great debate over the issue of Scotland possibly no longer desiring to remain part of the UK. The call to independence and the objections to it will make a smashing debate in this forum. This article on the matter is an interest in this. This issue has divided the Scots, with considerations of the future of the British in consideration to whatever happens from this event, whether the Act of Union breaks or not. Consideration of how the likes of Wales would take to this is possible to be debated on with the high nature of this matter, especially in these economic times. So what is your view on the matter?

Hmmm, very interesting. I'll be watching from home, sitting in a velvet clothed armchair while smoking a Cuban cigar, holding a cup of Cognac in the other hand and with an evil smile on my face.

As 1/4th Ulster Scot, I feel very connected to my Celtic heritage. I sincerely hope Scotland leaves the UK to forge their own destiny in history like they deserve to. Hell, I wouldn't be against an idea of a Celtic Union between Ireland, Scotland, and (hypotheticlly) Wales, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Unfortunately for the Scots they will have to deal with the fall out while they "forge their own destiny" while you can live in a nation who will never have to worry about going bankrupt being proud of you heritage.
