You are clearly enthused by military research. Tell me, Dr. Kwan, what code of ethics must a scientist bear in the pursuit of knowledge?

Simple: do what you must do as long it is not doing any harm so long as it is doing well to not do harm so long as the end result justifies the means so long the means justify the end as long as the morality is not question as long as the answers to your methods are provided so long as you follow the code as long you follow no laws on the matters of science as long you know your limits and break them!
Ozerov is very concern when it comes to the ethical practices in science, with this “all must be for peace, not war” stuff. Revolution requires fire power: that is my observation. What say you?

I say you're the one with the doctorate.

On the subject of freedom of information: Mme. Rojo of Aragon famously blasted Coruscant's reaction to SUDS' reverse-engineering of its traded technologies as an attempt to stifle the free flow of knowledge. How soon do you think your ion technologies will diffuse across the rest of the world, and do you see that as a threat the way Coruscant does?

Technology spreads. You cannot stop it. If you do try to stop the spread of technology then you’re stupid as a rock. No... that comment is a insult to rocks! In time people will take our ion technology for their own. The Corcusant’s may complain time to time about our “barrowing” of their technology but in their determination to keep their technology to themselves will be their downfall. Such is the word of I. Trust I. I am a doctor!

What are the next steps for the project, and do you have any non-ionized aspirations?

Once we finished the tanks I will let others add improvements to them while focusing on my big project: developing a ion cannon to be launched into space via satellite! We will fire any where we want! First I require the need to develop cannon that can fire strong enough to go through the Earth’s atmosphere in such way as to commence damage to the ground without going too strong and damaging the atmosphere. Then I will need to develop a power source that is of not feul and of enough power to fire zee cannon!
My next non-ion project will be on trying to develop fighters that can go into space. Naturally... I will... “barrow” from the Corcusants. All to project our satellites from Corcusant star ships in case we get in conflict with them. What happen to Austrian satellite better not happen to S.U.D.S satellites.

Speaking of Austria: given your expertise in military development, are their "Gundam" suits... a pragmatic design, or even feasible given the current state of national infrastructure? Would SUDS ever consider a similar project?

Mechs?! I do not know how they develop these things in notion of the chaos that meant they could not develop such high technology so quickly, nor do I not care. Mechs are easy targets! They have to move slowly or else. They are big targets. Ion cannon aim for the leg and the mech trips over. The S.U.D.S has little need for mechs... although “small” robotic mechs might be nice for heavy assaults.
