You dont say what you dont like.
The characters are very good. The story is original. It has action, drama, everything.
I cant understand people like you. In the LF the critics said that this was a good fan fic.

Half the characters are direct rips or expies and the other half are utterly forgettable and serve no purpose.
The story copies the Original Trilogy without contributing anything to make it "better".
The action is predictable (see above), the drama is melo, and the clunky writing bores the reader.
Are the LucasForums dominated by twelve-year-olds, or... Oh. Right. Star Wars.

Beating around the bush destroys even more plant life. Barrel through that bush and save all its neighbors.
Plant life being an allegory for good writing or feelings. I'm not quite sure. It probably doesn't matter.

To be honest, the characters are bland and assumes the reader that we already know them. This is one of my mistakes when importing characters from other games, it's not as bad now since I've grown to using my own characters (though due to the medium I use, you may get the "Hey, I know who that guy/gal is from!".
Why did Luke became a mercenary? It's almost top toeing into the other EU revolving around Cade Skywalker.

Because Luke was angry with both Ben who told him lies, and Vader that tried to use his anger. Also i have never read anything about this Cade Skywalker.

More importantly, how can he be a Jedi when he had next-to-no Force training, can barely control his emotions, and killed his would-be teacher?!
A lightsaber a Jedi does not make. Nor a Sith. Exhibit A: General Grievous.
