What is the first topic on our agenda?

Abel Roux sits down on his meeting chair and began:
“First of the... upset. I would like to inform you that the S.U.D.S regards the Zulus as good friends. I just want to let you that. I know the... words we have with the government of Corcusant may have... not been the most civil but we ensure you that we do not seek the path of the aggressor. We just want to maintain peace and liberty, the oxygen of socialism. I want to know... you still regard us as comrades?

President Yaqesh enters the room, with 2 of his advisors on each side of him, and sits in the chair opposite of Roux.
"Of course. You are still our good friend, but we do not support the choices you are making. I understand what our nation did was foolish, and the denouncing was somewhat of a spur of the moment action, if you will."

“Well” went Roux having slipping some water. “I too have... had moods as you know with our... reactions on the suit tech scandal. It is amazing how silly even leaders of great powers like both of our lands can become... and the harm we may accidently give. Great figures make great mistakes. We are both great figures within our lands, elected to serve the cause of democracy. Have I shamed the image of the socialist cause with my mistakes... as probably shown by your resignation as a member of the G.A.S. I understand. Let us hope no one makes further mistakes that would increase tensions around the world.”

Nodding to his advisors, Yaqesh said "I just want to let you know that I still support the decisions SUDS makes, as long as they arent too farfetched. Let us just put this whole misunderstanding behind." Looking more serious, Yaqesh leaned forward a bit and spoke in a firm voice. "What the real threat here is the nomad nation that goes by the name of ?istan. What are your thoughts on them? Myself, I think they are cheating nations out of their RP."

“Yes...” went Roux. “Those lands are... chaotic. I fear a conflict may come from a simple mistake made in those lands. The S.U.D.S’s Grand Marshal Jack O’Brian and Premier Susan Rojo of the Democracy of Aragon suggested that we should... “liberate the area.” I myself do not want to be the starter of the conflict for that is the way of the aggressor. I suggest what Robert Samson suggested to me during the crisis: if a conflict comes we should step in to save the people. Of course we are hoping that no conflict occurs. Whatever happens... we must not make the mistakes the USA made.”

A big grin came across Yaqesh's face. "I am glad you share the same thoughts as I do. Now, is there anything else you would like to discuss?"

“Well” went Roux. “I see that in your leaving of the G.A.S that you wish to join the P.E.A.C.E. Is this a sign of grand policy change in your land? Just wanting to know that even as a member of P.E.A.C.E, you can still calls us friends. We just... thought the action was over the top.”

Yaqesh resumed serious mode. "Times have been... tough in our land. As you have said, policies have been changing, and it is time for re-election for President of Zululand. Sadly, this may be my last term, but I understand that action was over the top. It was, as I have said, a spur of the moment, and we assure you it wont happen again. I am afraid that the leaving of G.A.S. will most likely be permanent, we just agree with more of P.E.A.C.E.'s decisions in this whole debacle with Coruscant."

“Right” went Roux, looking unease. “I will... I understand. Would you as a sign of trust agree even as a member to be of P.E.A.C.E to... have a one-on-one alliance with us? It would not be a socialist or capitalist allaince... or one that conflicts with being a member of either the G.A.S or P.E.A.C.E. It will be a allaince of freinds. We are friends... a friendship that is post-political. I... will just be a simple pact of trust.... a Pact of Brotherhood.”
