Quarter for questions, queries, quibbles, quandaries and/or complaints concerning the gameplay, to avoid spamming up the main thread.

Okay, I might just be insane, but, I can't see anything in the rules that conclusively shows how to expand into neutral territories.

It's under the Military section, below the table:

Maximum five per turn then? Excellent.

Ah yes, with a small amount of territories the classic 5 claims per turn rule making a return is logical. Might I suggest starting up a donation counter via LB or Adfly? I'd be happy to pay you for your time. (Since it's free to the users, hopefully they would be as well...) As for actual mechanics - was my background story considered powergamey?

Might I suggest starting up a donation counter via LB or Adfly? What, like a tip jar? Nah, s'cool. Kinda hoped to avoid direct ties to MP prime, but I think others have done that as well and if christos gets out of hand, I'm always ready to bring back his old foe. >

Indeed, like a place in your signature people can click. I know I would! ...not that that means much. IOTers are proof that chaos is the constant variable. Why do I get the feeling the Lancers wouldn't be seen as GM abuse in this situation...

Why do I get the feeling the Lancers wouldn't be seen as GM abuse in this situation... a) 'cuz it's christos b) 'cuz I'm upfront about this sort of stuff. It's when you go sneaking around all "LAWL NOONE WILL SEE THRU MY BRILLIANT SCHEME!!!!" that people get upset. Courtesy and respect is a two-way street, so they say.

On a similar vein to Tani, is MY backstory powergamey? Hope not.
EDIT: About Client States, do I have to invest 50% of MY GDP or the potential Client State? And once the Client State is mine, can other people try and convert it by giving money? Or can they only do Coups?

On a similar vein to Tani, is MY backstory powergamey? Hope not. Also cool. When it's done tongue-in-cheek, it never really feels like a powergame. Half of theirs at least; allegiance goes to whomever provides more cash that turn. "Pax" clients will generally remain with their sugar daddies sponsors unless there is an exceptionally strong incentive to break prematurely for another offer, i.e. sponsor has totally disgraced itself on the international stage and triggered a disastrous war that would be suicide to support.
